Viking Lid-Ease® SimpleStrainers provide protection for pumping systems with low pressure drop. The inclined position of the strainer basket adjacent to the porting provides smooth flow patterns. The Strainers reduce cleaning problems compared with conventional strainers. It has a top lid rotation that disengages the breech lock type lid for easy removal of the basket. The basket is removed from the top of the strainer, eliminating the need to completely drain the system or allowing foreign matter to drop back into the line when the strainer is cleaned. The small port-to-port dimensions allow for easy installation. Lid-Ease® Simplestrainers have a weather seal lid to protect the breach lock from the elements and prevent air infiltration into the pump suction.
