This coupling uses a specialized tongue-and-groove mechanism designed for environments where a secure, non-flexible connection is critical (such as data center liquid cooling, waste water treatment, and fire protection). This design, paired with heavy-duty bolt pads, ensures a positive rigid connection without the use of built-in teeth, protecting light-wall pipes and fittings from surface damage during installation.Made from corrosion-resistant 304 stainless steel housings and equipped with a Grade E-pw EPDM gasket, the SS-7 is optimized for reliability in demanding utility and industrial applications.
