In sanitary processing, this size is often found on large-batch mixing vessel outlets, brewery bright tank transfers, and high-capacity CIP supply mains. In data center liquid cooling, 2-1/2″ valves are a practical choice for primary coolant headers serving multi-rack cooling zones, facility-level supply/return isolation in larger CDU installations, and retrofit projects where existing infrastructure was originally designed around 2-1/2″ tube (a common legacy size in industrial chilled water systems being repurposed for DCLC duty).Made from precision-milled 304 stainless steel with a fully machined and polished disc, the S77 maintains hygienic flow characteristics even at higher velocities typical of larger headers.
