The WarmGuard Full-Length Drum Heater offers an energy-efficient solution for keeping liquid flowing in cold weather. With the insulated full-wrap design, this heater provides uniform heat to preserve expensive materials without scorching or burning. The WG55F is an insulated full-coverage drum heater specifically designed to fit a 55-gallon drum and encasing it fully in WarmGuard’s patented tough vinyl heating cover. It has a preset thermostat set to maintain up to a maximum 145 F / 62.8 C (± 5 F/3 C). The full-coverage drum heaters allow you to safely control the temperature of expensive chemicals and other fluids; it delivers a barrier of directional heat where it’s needed most, the bottom 2/3rds of the drum, while still insulating the top third to help retain the heat-preventing fluids from freezing and maintaining optimal temperatures. This innovative heat-spreading technology insulates, protects and maintains heat in a wide variety of applications.
