Replacement Cap for TV – 2. Tank Vent 2 inch (Replacement Cap Only)
The PetroClear TV-2 Tank Vent Cap & Base protects above ground storage and transfer tanks for assorted gasolines and diesel fuels, as well as small lubricant and non-pressurized hydraulic reservoirs. It is designed to maintain a constant tank pressure by creating a semi-closed system which vents at 2.5 lbs of pressure and 1.5 oz of vacuum, protecting the tank from damage due to expansion and contraction of the contents of the tank. By maintaining a semi-closed system, the TV-2 also reduces fuel loss due to evaporation and fuel contamination from moisture intake.
