OPW 821 Anti Siphon Solenoid Valve 2 in. – 0 To 25 PSI
Description
Large-Bore Fuel Isolation for High-Capacity Generator and Tank InfrastructureThe 2 in. OPW 821 is a normally closed, two-way diaphragm solenoid valve designed to prevent accidental siphoning from aboveground storage tanks in the event of a downstream line failure. This is the largest connection size in the 821 Series and is sized for high-capacity fuel delivery applications such as large generator sets, multi-engine installations, or facilities where tank-to-engine piping needs to support sustained high-flow rates over extended run times. For hyperscale and large enterprise data centers where backup generator capacity could run into the megawatt range, proper fuel line sizing and isolation at the tank is a mechanical dependency of the entire facility power and cooling stack. A normally closed valve at this bore size ensures the fuel supply is positively isolated by default and only opens under active generator control signal. This valve operates across a 0 to 25 PSI range with no minimum operating pressure, making it compatible with gravity-fed systems regardless of static head. All wetted components are selected for petroleum service: aluminum body, Viton diaphragm and seals, stainless steel springs and core, Teflon rider rings.Key specifications:Connection: 2 in. female NPTOperating pressure: 0 to 25 PSIValve action: Normally closed, two-way diaphragmBody material: AluminumDiaphragm, seals, and disc: Viton®Springs and core: Stainless steelRider rings: Teflon®Disc holder: NylonCore guide: Acetal/Delrin
