Noshok industrial type bimetal thermometers are heavy duty with a weather resistant, tamper-proof case. The thermometers have a highly sensitive bimetallic helicoil that is heat treated for stress-relief and silicone coated to minimize pointer vibration. This helps maximize heat transfer and response time. Note: Thermowells are recommended for pressure, corrosive fluids and high velocity applications Units must be operated within the catalogued environmental and application parameters. Determination of failure will be made by NOSHOK, Inc.’s equipment and personnel or a certified test facility specializing in this type of evaluation.
