Morrison Bros. 710SS Series 2 in. Stainless Steel Anti-Siphon Solenoid Valves w/ PTFE Seal – Flanged
Description
304 Stainless Steel Flanged Anti-Siphon Solenoid Valve for Corrosive & High-Purity Fluid SystemsThe Morrison Bros. 710FSS Series 2-inch flanged solenoid valve is a normally closed, zero-differential-pressure design built for bulk fluid isolation and anti-siphon protection in pipelines handling aggressive or high-purity liquids. The 304 stainless steel body and stainless steel piston make this size well-suited for chilled water loops, glycol-based coolant headers, and deionized water circuits in data center liquid cooling infrastructure, including CDU inlet/outlet isolation and secondary loop backflow prevention. PTFE seals provide broad chemical resistance across a wide range of process fluids, making this valve a reliable choice wherever elastomeric seal compatibility is a concern. The hung piston design opens with zero upstream pressure differential, maintaining reliable actuation even in low-pressure gravity-feed or fluctuating-pressure cooling circuits. An integral thermal relief feature bleeds expansion pressure in the reverse direction of flow, protecting downstream infrastructure from pressure spikes during thermal cycling. The continuous-duty Class H coil supports 24/7 energized operation without thermal degradation, and the NEMA 3/4X/7/9-rated enclosure ensures the solenoid housing remains sealed against moisture intrusion and condensation common in cooling environments. A 100-mesh inlet strainer is strongly recommended to protect the piston mechanism and preserve warranty coverage.Key specifications:Body: 304 stainless steelPiston: Stainless steelSeals: PTFEFlange size: 2 in. | Orifice: 1.5 in. | CV: 27Operating pressure differential: 0–105 PSIMaximum fluid temperature: 302°FPower consumption: 30W | Standard voltage: 120V AC (multiple AC/DC voltages available)Enclosure: NEMA 3, 4X, 7, 9 — watertight, explosion-proof; Groups C and DConnections: Flanged, ANSI 150 RFMaximum viscosity: 60 centistokesUL Certified (Class I Div. 1, Groups C&D; Class II Div. 1, Groups E, F&G; Class III) | cULus ListedNOTE: Product can only be pumped in one direction, the direction of the flow arrow.
