Morrison Bros. 710SS Series 1 in. Stainless Steel Anti-Siphon Solenoid Valves w/ PTFE Seal – Threaded
Description
1-Inch Stainless Steel Anti-Siphon Solenoid Valve for Fuel Systems & Liquid Cooling InfrastructureThe Morrison Bros. 710SS is a normally closed, hung-piston solenoid valve with a 304 stainless steel body and PTFE seals, sized at 1″ NPT for mid-range flow applications. It installs on the dispensing side of a fuel or fluid pipeline, remaining closed until an electronic signal (from a dispenser, pump controller, or BMS) commands it open. The 1″ size carries a CV of 12 and handles operating pressures up to 105 PSI, making it a practical fit for single-rack or small-cluster coolant distribution unit (CDU) supply and return lines where moderate flow rates and a compact footprint are priorities. Zero pressure differential operation means the valve opens reliably even under low-pressure start-up conditions common in server rack manifolds. The 304 SS body and PTFE seal combination resists galvanic corrosion and ion contamination in deionized water loops, glycol-based coolants, and dielectric fluids used in direct-to-chip and immersion cooling systems. The integral thermal relief feature protects closed loop segments from pressure spikes caused by thermal expansion under high server loads. The Class H coil operates at 120V AC standard, with the explosion-proof NEMA 3/4X/7/9 enclosure covering hazardous location requirements (relevant for two-phase immersion cooling environments with low-flashpoint fluid volatility).Key specifications:Size: 1″ NPTBody: 304 stainless steelSeals: PTFEPiston: Stainless steelOrifice: 1″CV: 12Operating pressure differential: 0–105 PSIMafluid temperature: 356°FMin operating temperature: -40°FPower consumption: 30 wattsCoil: Continuous duty Class H, 120V AC standard (multiple voltages available)Enclosure: Watertight, explosion-proof — NEMA 3, 4X, 7, 9; Groups C and DMafluid viscosity: 60 centistokesCertifications: UL/cULus Listed; Class I Div. 1 Groups C&D; Class II Div. 1 Groups E, F, G; Class IIIInstall orientation: Horizontal pipeline, upright vertical positionNOTE: Product can only be pumped in one direction, the direction of the flow arrow.
