Description

1-Inch Normally Closed Anti-Siphon Solenoid Valve with Zero Pressure Differential OperationThe Morrison Bros. 710 Series 1-inch solenoid valve is a normally closed anti-siphon valve built for installation on the dispensing side of fuel system pipelines, shutting off flow automatically to prevent product siphoning when a downstream fracture or leak occurs below the tank’s liquid level. The 1-inch port steps up flow capacity from the ¾-inch version while remaining well suited to space-constrained installations including branch lines, zone isolation points, and coolant feed lines in data center liquid cooling systems where a reliable normally closed shutoff is required at the rack or row level without space for a larger valve body. The cast bronze body pairs with FKM seals to handle fluids up to 60 centistokes viscosity and 302°F (150°C). The hung piston opens at zero pressure differential, so the valve actuates dependably in low-head or gravity-fed circuits without relying on line pressure to lift the piston. Thermal relief is integrated into the design, venting expansion pressure in the reverse flow direction to protect upstream piping and manifolds from pressure buildup during thermal cycling. This Class H continuous duty coil operates at 120V AC standard, with AC voltages from 208V to 480V and DC options at 12V, 24V, and 48V available for facilities requiring specific control voltage compatibility. Its explosion-proof enclosure carries NEMA 3, 4X, 7, and 9 ratings and is UL Certified for Class I Division 1 Groups C and D, Class II Division 1 Groups E, F, and G, and Class III.Key specifications:Connection size: 1 in.
