Kuriyama foot valves are made of cast iron and come with a neoprene flapper valve assembly. Threads are NPT; bolts and nuts are plated steel. Designed for use in irrigation and other pumping applications where water may be dirty due to silt and sand to prevent passage of contaminants to the pump.
