Description

Checkers ground protection mats are used to get equipment through, mud, sand, snow and marsh/swamp land conditions. Used for access to and from remote sites and provide a stable work area in industries such as construction, landscaping, oil & gas, utilities and civil engineering. The temporary access ground protection matting also prevents environmental damage to agricultural land, heritage sites, and sensitive environments, and cross contamination between sites.
The VersaMat® provides a low-profile slip-resistant traction surface that makes it suitable for heavy equipment and pedestrians. Developed for a multi-functional use of walking or standing/working surface with the heavy load capacity for construction equipment. It can also be used as a vehicle trackway, vehicle parking area or supply & equipment staging area. The standard VersaMAT® has the aggressive tread on one side and a high load bearing capacity of 120 tons* and can be easily moved by hand. The mats flexible construction allows it to follow the contours of the ground providing a highly effective access solution on sloping or rough ground conditions.< /p>
