The Betts 2014CCW-10 Sanitary Manway Assembly is engineered to meet the demanding standards of the sanitary industry. This 19-inch personal access port is designed for optimal performance and durability. All product contact surfaces are mechanically polished to a
#4 finish and electropolished to a shine, enhancing corrosion resistance and simplifying cleaning processes.
The manway features a 7-gauge, 10-inch high collar, a 10-gauge stud platform, a 10-gauge inner head, and a 12-gauge dust cover. The bottom gusseted 3/4 inch ACME threaded studs are paired with heavy duty hold down dogs and easy grip wing nuts with brass inserts, ensuring a secure and reliable seal. The gasket, which meets sanitary and FDA requirements, includes a sealing lip to minimize leakage due to surges.
Additionally, the stud platform is designed with a mounting lip for easy fit-up with a rectangular deck plate.
