Installation:

Recommended distance from pumps, elbows, and similar devices: minimum five times the pipe diameter
Allowable distances between three to five diameters with flow velocity less than 8 feet per second
Suitable for vertical or horizontal installation, with hinge pin located on top in horizontal setups
