Description

Ampco Pumps AC/AC+ series centrifugal pumps feature a simple and easy to maintain sanitary design. Wetted parts constructed from 316L stainless steel, 3A Certified for sanitary use and offers performance and reliability at a cost-effective price. Fluid end with standard sanitary clamp connection. The AC+ pumps takes the best of the AC Series pump, and adds engineering innovation to the shaft design for better stability and increased performance. Threaded impeller nut and clamped stub shaft for reliability, stability and clean-ability. The external dimensions are the same as AC pumps- no need to change piping. Hydraulic performance is identical to AC pumps. The casing, backplate and seals are interchangeable.
Type D seal type is an external balanced seal with carbon rotary stainless steel seat and Buna elastomers. It is well suited for multi-purpose uses, and designed to give long service life. The external balanced seal is made of carbon/stainless steel.
NOTE: This is the centrifugal pump only with no motor. Configurations with motor are available, full assembly pricing will vary based on motor type and hp.
