40 HP Rotary cutter gearbowith 1-3/8″ smooth input shaft and a gear ratio of 1:1.93. Cast iron housing is sealed to protect the gears and bearings. The mounting plate has four bolt holes spaced 4.75″ square. Ships without oil (16 oz of 80-90 W)

Gearbohas a piloted flange bottom to fit in a 5-1/4″ pilot hole in the mower/cutter deck.

Replaces OEM gearboxes on 4′, 5′ and some 6′ rotary cutters by these manufacturers: Howse 350 & 400, King Kutter Mowers, Mohawk Brave 4′, Modern 42″, 4′ & 5′ Competitor and 4′ & 5′ Sunshine, Sidewinder SX42, LX50, GM 42 & 48 and others. Please check measurements for proper fitment.
